Responsibilities
- Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Shop for food and household supplies
- Bathe, dress and feed infants and children
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- Organize activities such as games and outings for children
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Supervise and care for children
- Tend to emotional well-being of children
- Help children with homework
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Secondary (High) School graduation certificate
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
- Flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability
- Criminal record check
- Target audience: supervise and care for multi-aged group of children
Employment Details
- Location: North York, ON M5M 1J9 (On site)
- Salary: $20.00 per hour (full time 40 hours per week)
- Start date: As soon as possible
