Job summary

Satwinder Pal Singh in Surrey, BC seeks a full-time caregiver for their three children, aged 11, 10 and 9. The caregiver will live in the family home in Surrey, BC, and supervise the children, prepare nutritious meals, help with homework, and maintain a safe, tidy household.

Education: secondary school completed; a child-care course is an asset. English is the language preference. The role is permanent, 32 hours per week, paying C$20.50 per hour, with 4% vacation pay. Experience is not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Completion of Secondary (High) School or equivalent.
• Course in Child Care is an asset.
• English language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the children at the employer's home when parents are away from home.
• Cook and provide healthy meals for the children according to their requirements.
• Take full responsibility of the home in the absence of the parents.
• Keep the room of the children neat and tidy, do laundry as per the instructions of the employer.
• Assist with school pick-up and dropping them for extra classes.
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment at home; teach personal hygiene.
• Support emotional well-being and social development of the children.
• Promote hygiene and cleanliness in all areas of the house.
• Escort children to doctor appointments and manage medicines.
• May perform light housekeeping duties.

Job duties

• Supervise the children at the employers house when parents are away from home

• Bringing children form school and assisting them in studies. Dropping them for extra class.
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment at home. Teaching them personal Hygiene.
• Tend to the emotional well-being of children and support their social development
• Promoting them hygiene’s and cleanliness in all areas of the house.
• Escorting them to doctor during appointments. Keeping track in medicines
• May need to perform light housekeeping duties
