Job description

Assiniboine Early Learning Centre is looking for 1 CCA for a full time Term position to work a 7.5 hour day. (Scheduled for 8 hours, 1 hour break 1/2 paid 1/2 unpaid, net 7.5 hour day).

Wage is based on experience, please see wage scale below. The start date will be ASAP.

The successful candidate must have a Child Care Assistant Classification, current First Aid and CPR certificate, 40 hour CCA course, clear Criminal Record and Child Abuse Check and Vulnerable Sector Search and have completed the Commit to Kids online training.

The successful candidate will be expected to be available to work between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., be a team player with good communication skills, able to assist Early Childhood Educators in the environment in planning and implementing activities for children ages 3 months to 6 years old and be familiar with the provincial licensing manual.

Staff benefits include a paid Christmas closure from December 25-January 1 each year.
