What You Bring

• Diploma in Human or Social services or other related field
• Experience working with a care team to support Child / youth with diverse needs.
• Or a combination of education training and experience.

• Stay active: bike, swim, walk, hike and engage in client-focused activities.
• Think critically, follow policies and take initiative.
• Manage conflicts effectively and document accurately.
• Keep the home running, shopping, cleaning, budgeting and meal planning.
• Cook nutritious meals to support a healthy lifestyle.
• Assess safety risks and respond appropriately to crises.
• Administer medications.

• Valid BC Class 5 Drivers License, safe driving record

• The following training is required and provided to the successful candidate free of charge: First Aid, Mandt, SafeTALK, Safe Food Handling, Medication Management, Privacy and Information Sharing, Anti-Bullying and Harassment.
• Physical requirements of the job include supporting individuals with recreational activities and household duties including hiking, biking, yard work, snow removal, general cleaning duties etc.
