Role Summary :
As the Chief Investment Officer (CIO), you will be the strategic force behind Purpose’s investment platform, unifying strategy across asset classes while modernizing infrastructure, talent, and technology to drive outstanding performance at scale. The CIO is accountable for delivering exceptional client outcomes through disciplined investment execution, innovative product strategy, and seamless cross-functional alignment.
As a visible leader internally and externally, the CIO attracts top talent, champions continuous improvement, and ensures the investment platform supports Purpose’s ambition to be Canada’s leading investment house with global reach.
Key Responsibilities :
Define and evolve a forward-looking investment philosophy aligned with Purpose’s mission and long-term vision. Serve as a credible voice internally and externally.
Architect a high-performance, technology-driven platform that enables speed, accuracy, and scalability. Integrate automation, analytics, and systematic tools to support portfolio management and trading.
Attract, mentor, and retain top investment professionals. Foster a culture of ownership, performance, and continuous learning.
Embed a culture of discipline, innovation, and feedback. Continuously refine investment processes through data-driven reviews and global benchmarking.
Partner with product, sales, and marketing teams to develop and commercialize innovative investment solutions.
