Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead Snaplii’s financial operations as we scale rapidly and prepare for a potential IPO. This is not just a back-office finance role—we’re looking for a leader who deeply understands business drivers, partners cross-functionally with product, growth, and risk teams, and brings strong capital market experience.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced fintech environment, is confident managing ambiguity, and can build the financial infrastructure for a high-growth company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Financial Leadership
  • Partner with the CEO and executive team on company-wide financial strategy and long-term planning.
  • Build a scalable finance function that enables business agility and clear decision-making.
  • Translate business performance into financial insights and operating models.
  • Capital Markets & IPO Readiness
  • Lead Snaplii’s IPO preparation process, including financial audits, structuring, governance readiness, and investor narrative development.
  • Work with legal, banking, and regulatory partners to ensure compliance and optimal execution.
  • Build a credible capital markets function to support fundraising, investor relations, and public market operations.
  • Financial Operations & Controls
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, treasury, and internal controls.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP and other relevant frameworks.
  • Implement systems to support multi-entity, multi-currency operations as we scale internationally.
  • Business Partnering & Performance
  • Be a strategic advisor to heads of Product, Marketing, Risk, and Engineering—helping align revenue, pricing, incentives, and investment decisions with financial goals.
  • Drive unit economics improvement through CAC, ROI, LTV, payback, and margin optimization.
  • Build robust reporting frameworks for tracking profitability, burn, and KPIs.
  • Team Leadership
  • Build and mentor a high-performing finance, accounting, and compliance team.
  • Implement operational discipline and accountability across all cost centers.
  • Drive a culture of data-driven thinking and proactive financial ownership.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 7–12 years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally in fintech, payments, or digital consumer platforms
  • Deep understanding of business models and proven track record of working alongside cross-functional teams to drive financial and operational results
  • Experience with IPO or late-stage capital markets preparation is highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of corporate governance, risk, and compliance standards (including SOX or equivalents)
  • Demonstrated ability to build and scale finance infrastructure (people, systems, and processes)
  • Excellent communication skills and board/investor presentation experience
  • CPA, CFA, MBA, or equivalent qualification preferred
