Job summary

Sunrise Chick Sales, a division of Sunrise Farms, is seeking workers in Abbotsford, BC to perform chicken-catching duties. You will set up equipment for safe operations and guide chickens into loading areas, loading poultry into crates for transport, and work as a team to handle birds without causing distress.

The role requires ability to lift up to 40 lbs, tolerance for heavy repetitive tasks, and night shifts.

Job description

Sunrise Chick Sales is a division of Sunrise Farms, one of the largest chicken processors in Canada, with facilities in British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba and Ontario. Our team of employees are experienced, dedicated, and exceptional at delivering quality products from farm to table.

Role:

A Chicken Catchers' role is to work as part of a team to guide chickens into a loading area and load them into crates. Must be able to perform repetitive tasks and be physically capable of repetitive heavy lifting of approx. 40 lbs.

$24.84 - $24.84 an hour
