Job summary
A leading educational institution in Canada is seeking a Technician for the Department of Chemistry. The Technician will support research and teaching through the maintenance and upgrading of lab instrumentation, offer technical support for Nuclear Magnetic Resonance facilities, and manage the rough shop. Candidates should hold a diploma in Chemical Technology or a BSc, along with a strong background in electronics and experience with NMR instrumentation. This role offers a salary between $28.72 and $37.60 per hour.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience with electronics.
- Significant experience with NMR instrumentation.
Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain lab instrumentation and equipment.
- Provide technical support for Nuclear Magnetic Resonance facilities.
- Produce custom equipment and parts in the Department rough shop.

Ability to install, maintain, and repair equipment
