Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking candidates for a role in Alberta, Canada, requiring NITEC and/or higher in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering. No experience is necessary as training will be provided. Responsibilities

  • Carry out process sampling.
  • Monitor process condition.
  • Record all operating conditions and process quality.
  • Correct minor process deviations.
  • Inform supervisor of any abnormality in operating conditions.
  • Perform preventive maintenance as per schedule.
  • Operate equipment/process according to authorised procedures.
  • Perform housekeeping of process area and equipment.
  • Ensure proper handling and taking over of duties during shift changeover.
  • Process all non-GMO oil in accordance with authorised procedures.
  • Comply to all risk control measures and adhere to safe work procedure according to WSH.
  • Perform any ad-hoc tasks assigned by superior.

Education

NITEC and/or above in Chemical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
