Responsibilities

  • Conduct or assist in environmental monitoring and protection activities.
  • Conduct sampling and analysis using chromatography techniques.
  • Conduct tests and analysis using other physical and chemical separation techniques.
  • Conduct tests and analysis using spectroscopy techniques.
  • Operate laboratory apparatus.
  • Set up chemical experiments, tests and analyses.
  • Use techniques such as chromatography, spectroscopy, and microscopy.
  • Assist in set up and conduction of chemical experiments.
  • Compile records for analytical studies.
  • Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Assist in developing programs of sampling and analysis to maintain quality standards.
  • Assist in development of standards, health and safety measures.
  • Assist in the development of chemical engineering processes.
  • Compile records and interpret experimental or analytical results.
  • Operate experimental chemical or petrochemical pilot plant.
  • Assist in design and fabrication of experimental apparatus.
