Responsibilities
  • Identify and document potential environmental and safety problems
  • Investigate reported potential environmental and safety problems
  • Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend improvements to productivity and quality
  • Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule activities of workers
  • Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions
  • Establish work schedules
  • Prepare production and other reports
  • Provide information for maintenance plans to ensure maintenance and production objectives are met
  • Coordinate work activities with other departments
  • Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies

  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, procedures and internal controls
