Job summary

A leading chemical engineering firm in York Region, Vaughan is seeking a candidate to assist in chemical experiments and development processes. The successful individual will operate a petrochemical pilot plant and assist in designing experimental apparatus. A College/CEGEP education and 1-2 years of experience are required. This role is on-site and involves working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience is required.
• Experience with chemical experiments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in set up and conduction of chemical experiments.
• Assist in the development of chemical engineering processes.
• Operate experimental chemical or petrochemical pilot plant.
• Assist in design and fabrication of experimental apparatus.

• Prepare solution of gas or liquid, reagents, and sample formulations
