We are looking for a Chef Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This position is a full-time role. You will be offered a great team environment, work/life balance and the ability to cook healthy and appealing menus for consumers.
Experienced cooks who enjoy working in a team environment, ensuring high quality results and meeting food safety, HACCP, and OHS standards. In this role, you will assist the Executive Chef and team to successfully coordinate and direct all retail food and services, prepare meals following standardized recipes and according to departmental policies and procedures. You will prepare and serve meals with attractive and high-quality preparation, work within a set budget to reduce waste, improve production, safety and sanitation in the food services. You will participate in menu planning, estimate quantities, and requisition supplies of food. You will complete all HACCP related documentation provided by management, and other duties may be requested.
You will have a minimum of 1 to 2 years experience in a food service environment with high-volume cooking and catering experience. Maintain the highest standard of sanitation rules, perform effectively under pressure, and be able to anticipate and solve problems. Red Seal is an asset.
