Job summary

Playground, located just south of downtown Montreal in the Mohawk territory of Kahnawake, seeks a Dual Housekeeping Team Lead & Attendant to blend supervisory duties with hands-on cleaning. This full-time role features 3:00pm–11:00pm shifts, a 6‑month probation, and a structured pay plan beginning at $19.50/hr with progression to $21.00/hr plus a premium after training.

During early weeks you’ll rotate between custodian shifts and lead training; after training, base pay is $21.00/hr for 60 days

Qualifications

Bilingual in English and French (written and spoken).
Experience as a Team Lead, Supervisor, or equivalent leadership role in hospitality.
Computer proficiency with Excel and strong organizational skills.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 lbs in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Lead shifts: supervise housekeeping operations and coordinate tasks with the Housekeeping Manager.
Conduct floor inspections to ensure safety, sanitation, and policy compliance.
Monitor inventory, review daily task lists, and prepare end-of-shift reports.
Organize weekly task outlines and provide team training.
Respond promptly to guest requests and promote teamwork.
Attendant shifts: perform hands-on cleaning including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
Maintain restrooms, offices, poker tables, and common areas; report maintenance needs.
