Job summary
A local restaurant in Vancouver is seeking a dedicated individual for a permanent position to create new recipes, instruct and supervise kitchen staff, and ensure high food quality standards. The ideal candidate should have relevant educational qualifications, experience is an asset. Working hours range from 30 to 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Create new recipes.
- Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of food.
- Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff.
- Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food.
Education
