Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).

Responsibilities

• Act as the Charge Nurse coordinating resident care on the unit
• Provide clinical leadership and guidance to RPNs, PSWs, and other care staff
• Assess residents and respond to changes in health status
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; ensure proper documentation and LTC policy adherence
• Communicate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Support IPAC practices
• Ensure safe, high-quality resident care and LTC regulatory compliance
