SUMMARY:
Lantic is recruiting for the position of Channel Marketing Manager based in Toronto. Reporting to the VP, Sales and Marketing, the role offers high engagement and exposure across the organization, with opportunities for growth. The successful candidate will lead marketing for the Sugar segment and corporate branding, managing 3 full-time direct reports (1 marketer and 2 analysts) and agency relationships.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop meaningful value propositions for targeted audiences.
- Create and deliver compelling messages and content across platforms (digital catalog, web).
- Collaborate with sales to deliver impactful business reviews.
- Launch digital services to enhance value (e.g., Customer portal).
- Partner with sales to facilitate the annual business plan.
- Lead analysts in delivering insights and reports on volume, revenue, pricing, forecasting, and management reporting.
- Evolve reporting and analytics strategies.
- Steward our product brands, evolving brand guidelines.
- Manage packaging evolution, balancing cost, functionality, and sustainability, and harmonize across manufacturing sites.
- Implement SKU rationalization processes.
- Oversee our corporate brand and online presence strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field; MBA preferred.
- 8+ years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in Food/FMCG industries.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Experience with business analytics and price/mix analysis.
- Strong relationship management, leadership, and influence skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to navigate ambiguity and think creatively.
- Continuous learner with a mindset of course correction.
