Job summary

  • Experience in working with DevOps and Agile methodologies including Scrum, Waterfall, or Kanban Expert knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle Team management skills
  • Experience in the use of Jira, Git, and Visual Studio Release Management.
  • Good understanding of application infrastructure, system architecture, and operating system ITIL V3 certification
  • Domain Knowledge
  • Assist the Change Management managers in reviewing and administration of the GF CAB meetings. Assist various application teams in planning the release of project deliverables and release life cycle.

Communicate the overall release schedule, inter‑dependencies, and necessary coordination between different teams.

  • Communicate with release managers from different IT departments.
  • Coordinate the release schedule and resources required depending upon the third‑party applications, defect backlogs, planned releases, and infrastructure updates.
  • Identify the risks that can delay the release.
  • Assist the application teams in managing those risks ensuring mitigation while maintaining the scope scheduled, and quality of the release are not affected.
  • Publish weekly updates on the release activities.
  • Track the progress and find issues, if any.
  • Always work to improve the process of managing releases.
  • Schedule the release readiness reviews before deployment and milestone reviews.
