Wage Based on Experience

List of Duties
  • Manage daily operations of the organization, including implementation and administration of the policies and programs established by the Board of Directors.
  • Serve as the Chamber’s membership and promotions administrator.
  • Work with committees to plan and execute events and activities such as the annual Chamber Business Awards Gala Night.
  • Attend appropriate chamber events and complete other duties as required.
  • Manage AR and AP in QuickBooks in coordination with the Bookkeeper

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Greet visitors to the chamber office and provide customer service to walk-in traffic.
  • Answer and field incoming phone calls.
  • Manage incoming/outgoing mail and all electronic communications.
  • Control office supplies, maintain a clean and orderly office space.
  • Ensure that all proper chamber documentation is current.
  • Maintain and update the chamber’s website and social media channels.
  • Initiate membership retention calls and collect past due membership fees.
  • Assess membership needs.
  • Work with committees to plan and promote membership.
  • Plan and attend monthly chamber board meetings and record minutes.
  • Participate in chamber activities to promote and enhance the business community.
  • Work closely with the Bookkeeper and Treasurer to ensure that all invoices are sent out.
  • Display a strong commitment to the community and work with other leaders.
  • Strive to develop a better understanding of the purpose and function of the Chamber.

As the first point of contact for visitors to the chamber, the position requires a highly motivated and energetic person who can set priorities and demonstrate a professional and respectful attitude. The successful candidate will perform the chamber’s front desk responsibilities and be responsible for the growth and retention of membership. The successful candidate should be able to think outside the box, have the ability to multi-task and be very organized.
