Job summary

A leading consulting firm in Canada seeks an experienced Hygiene Consultant to manage a variety of technical projects in environmental services. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and providing expertise in hygiene services. The ideal candidate has at least 10 years of consulting experience, holds a CIH/ROH designation, and possesses strong project management skills. Your Main Responsibilities
  • Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety rules.
  • Providing technical expertise, review and oversight for Hygiene related services and projects.
  • Generating and providing technical reviews of deliverable documentation such as technical reports, proposals, and qualification packages.
  • Managing and/or generating deliverable documentation of various projects including work plans, specifications and technical documents.
  • Consistently executing prescribed technical procedures and work plans.
  • Interacting, coordinating, and scheduling projects with clients, as directed by the Team Lead or Director.
  • Participating in project management meetings, office meetings, health, and safety inspections.
  • Maintaining a commitment to exceeding client expectations by consistently delivering high quality of work.
  • Consistently maintaining professionalism and objectivity while working with colleagues and clients who require varying degrees of support.
  • Handling difficult situations with tact and diplomacy to maintain positive working relationships with all internal and external contacts.
What Makes You Unique
  • Undergraduate degree and/or applicable (science/engineering) diploma required.
  • CIH/ROH designation is required.
  • Minimum 10 years experience in a consulting environment.
  • Experience providing reviews to proposals, specifications, case studies, technical and non-technical reports required.
  • Solid understanding of provincial and federal regulatory requirements acquired through experience and education.
  • Possession of valid driver’s license required.
  • Possession of or eligibility to obtain secret security clearance required.
  • Demonstrated sensitivity and consideration for occupational health and safety.
