Job summary

IS2 Workforce Solutions is seeking experienced Certified Forklift Operators / Material Handlers for a busy facility in Newmarket or Bradford, ON. The role offers full-time hours with multiple shifts, weekly pay, and opportunities for overtime.

You will operate Counterbalance and Reach forklifts, load/unload shipments, and manage shipping/receiving tasks while maintaining safe, organized work areas. Must have valid forklift certification and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift certification – required.
• Previous forklift and warehouse/material handling experience.
• Experience operating Counterbalance and Reach trucks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely.
• Clear verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate Counterbalance and Reach forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload materials and shipments.
• Move, sort, and organize materials throughout the facility.
• Support shipping and receiving operations.
• Complete material handling and general warehouse duties.
• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving documentation.

Multiple Shifts Available

• Days: 7AM-4:30PM
• Afternoons: 3:00PM-11:30PM
• Nights: 12:30AM-8:00AM

What You’ll Be Doing

• Operating Counterbalance and Reach forklifts
• Loading and unloading materials and shipments
• Moving, sorting, and organizing materials throughout the facility
• Supporting shipping and receiving operations
• Completing material handling and general warehouse duties
• Maintaining accurate shipping and receiving documentation
• Safely lifting and handling materials weighing up to 50 lbs
• Keeping work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Following all company safety procedures and forklift requirements

What You Bring

• Valid forklift certification – required
• Previous forklift and warehouse/material handling experience
• Experience operating Counterbalance and Reach trucks
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs
• Clear verbal and written English communication skills
• Strong attendance, punctuality, and reliability
• A safety-first attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
• Experience with COMBI is an asset!
