Job summary

Otter Creek Dentallocated in Tillsonburg, Ontario is seeking a passionate, hard-working Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will support the Dentist with treatment assistance and prepare the treatment room and instruments for patient arrival.

27 hours per week with Monday to Thursday schedule and occasional Friday coverage. New graduates welcome; NDAEB completion required or Level II/Level I certification; Tracker software experience is a plus, and a

Qualifications

• Completion of a Certified/Registered Dental Assisting Level II or Level 1.
• Level II Certified or Level 1 - NDAEB Completion - Required.
• New graduates welcome.
• Experience with dental practice management software such as Tracker is considered an asset.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Dentist by providing treatment assistance and preparing the treatment room and dental equipment/instruments for patient arrival.
• Support dental procedures and sterilize instruments between patients.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the treatment area and equipment.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth patient flow and comfort.

Salary Range: $25.00 To $27.00 Hourly

The ideal CDA for our practice values playing their part for the team, to equip the Dentist through providing outstanding treatment assistance and preparing the treatment room and dental equipment/instruments for patient arrival.
