Martindale Dental in St Catharines, ON, is seeking a passionate, full-time Certified Dental Assistant to join our fast-paced, multi-specialist practice. The CDA will support the dentist, prepare rooms and instruments, and help deliver outstanding patient care.

• Certified/Registered Dental Assistant with active status or in process of registration.
• Good communication with patients and families.

• 1+ year of dental assisting experience.
• Able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Licensed in other provinces is acceptable.

Salary Range: $24.00 To $27.00 Annually

Job Description

Fast paced multi specialist based dental office in the heart of St Catharines. The team at Martindale Dental located in St Catharines, ON is looking for a passionate, hard-working Certified Dental Assistant on a full-time basis.

We are looking for a team oriented, multi tasked team member to join our energetic environment.

The ideal CDA for our practice values playing their part for the team, to equip the Dentist through providing outstanding treatment assistance and preparing the treatment room and dental equipment/instruments for patient arrival.

SCHEDULE:

• 35-42 hours per week
• Monday to Friday and 2 Saturdays per month.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Completion of a Certified/Registered Dental Assisting Level II
• Registered or in process of registering with the:
  • Ontario Dental Assistant Association
• We are also open to those licensed in other Canadian province(s)
• 1+ year of experience is required
• Experience with dental practice management software such as Dentrix is considered an asset
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
• Customer service mindset
