Job summary

Post Foods Canada in Niagara Falls, Ontario is seeking full-time production operators for our cereal processing lines. You'll operate and monitor equipment, perform quality checks, and ensure safety and cleanliness on the production floor.

We offer rotating 8-hour shifts, a pay rate of 23.92–34.17 CAD/hour under the local agreement, and union-negotiated benefits including medical, dental, and leave programs. Join a collaborative team serving beloved cereal brands.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to learn operation of packaging or processing equipment.
• Ability to use basic hand tools; food manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor equipment on production lines.
• Perform quality checks on finished products and packaging materials.
• Use basic hand tools for repairs and light maintenance.
• Record production data for waste, downtime and efficiency.
• Communicate with team on information and issues.
• Participate in safety training and follow safety policies.
• Inspect raw ingredients and finished products.
• Work with dry ingredients to create batches.
• Ensure batches meet food safety standards and minimize waste.
• Handle heavy equipment such as conveyors and dryers.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Keep work area clean and conduct sanitation audits.
