Job summary

An Indigenous communication organization is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its operations in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. This position entails overseeing the strategic direction, operational management, and relationship building with key stakeholders. The ideal candidate should possess at least five years of leadership experience, preferably in the media and communications sector, along with an MBA. Fluency in English and knowledge of Indigenous languages is preferred. The start date is ASAP.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years in a senior management role.
• Experience in media, communications, and business.
• Ability to communicate in English and Ojibway, Cree, or Oji-Cree is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall management and strategic direction of the organization.
• Prepare annual business plans for Board approval.
