Job summary

Aspect Biosystems Ltd. is seeking an ambitious Associate, Process Development (Cells) to join the process development team focused on bioprinted tissue therapeutics for cell therapy applications.

You will support production, qualification, and scale-up of multiple cell lines to advance bioprinted tissue therapeutics. You will collaborate with R&D, CMC, quality, and regulatory teams to ensure compliant processes and contribute to documentation such as SOPs, BPRs, and experimental reports.

Qualifications

• BSc with 2+ years or MSc in Cell Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field with demonstrated experience working aseptically with mammalian cell culture.
• Experience with cell isolation from human or animal tissue and 3D cell culture is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Independently support production and supply of various cell types to CMC and R&D groups for downstream bioprinting and assay development.
• Complete all stages of cell culture processing including isolation, thawing, expansion, media changes, aggregation, cryopreservation, and banking.
• Assess in vitro viability and functional assays for cell characterization.
• Contribute to scale-up processing of therapeutic cells and development of CoA documentation.
• Perform data collection and analysis to provide insights for process improvements.
