Job summary

Maison d'Étude Academy in Montreal seeks a qualified economics/business tutor to support CEGEP and university students in person. You will help reinforce concepts, guide problem‑solving, and provide personalized coaching to improve academic skills.

The ideal candidate holds a university degree in a related field, has 1–2 years of tutoring experience, and is bilingual in English and French. You will log sessions, communicate progress to families, and enjoy flexible hours within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• University degree in Education or related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of tutoring or teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of Quebec curriculum standards.
• Bilingual (English/French) preferred.
• Must be able to provide in-person support in the Montreal area.
• Police background check required.

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Maison d’Étude Academy is seeking a qualified and experienced economics/business tutor to provide in-person academic support to CEGEP and University students in Montreal, QC. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, proven teaching or tutoring experience, and the ability to inspire confidence and curiosity in their students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide in-person, one-on-one tutoring.
• Reinforce core concepts through targeted practice, assignments, and supplementary resources.

• Support students in developing independent study habits and long-term academic skills.
