Job summary

Acden Environment is seeking Class 1/3 Operators to join their waste and recycling services team at Suncor Firebag in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Operators will promote environmental responsibility by ensuring safe collection, transportation, and disposal of waste while working in a safety‑driven, community‑mocused environment.

The role requires a valid Class 1/3 license with Airbrake endorsement, several years of driving experience, and the ability to meet Alberta regulatory hours.

Qualifications

• Valid Class One (1) or Class Three (3) license with Airbrake endorsement and clean driver’s abstract.
• Minimum three (3) years of commercial driving experience.
• Successful completion of driver’s evaluation on manual 18-speed/automatic Class 1/3 vehicle.
• Eligibility to access all Acden client sites.
• Ability to log Hours of Service per Alberta regulations.
• Valid CSO, BSO, or CSTS & OSSA certificate.

What You’ll Need

• Valid Class One (1) or Class Three (3) license with Airbrake endorsement and clean driver’s abstract
• Minimum three (3) years of commercial driving experience
• Successful completion of driver’s evaluation on manual 18-speed/automatic Class 1/3 vehicle
• Eligibility to access all Acden client sites
• Ability to log Hours of Service per Alberta regulations

• Ability to obtain clearance on drug, alcohol, hearing, and physical abilities pre-employment testing (safety sensitive role)
• Ability to meet physical demands (bending, twisting, standing, walking, sitting for extended periods, lifting/pushing/pulling heavy objects)
