Averitt Express is seeking a CDL-A Dedicated Local Truck Driver to run predictable local routes. You will be home daily, with an average of 50–60 hours per week and about 1,800 miles weekly. Pay ranges by cpm and route; expect 6 p.m.–1 a.m. dispatches with liftgate requirements.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, scanning with a tablet, and handling returns or damages. Must obtain or be willing to obtain a Doubles/Triples endorsement within 60 days.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license and 60-day endorsement plan for doubles/triples.
• Experience with local route deliveries and loading/unloading.
• Ability to perform pre-trip inspections and safety checks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver automotive parts to dealerships on a local network.
• Unload freight from trailer and verify with tablet scans.
• Count freight, process returns, and handle damages as needed.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure on-time pickups.
