Casual Educational Assistant Position

The Chignecto- Central Regional Centre for Education is accepting applications for the 2025-26 Casual Educational Assistant List. This is for day-to-day work at various schools within the applicable Family of Schools and Geographic area as identified above.

Items to bring to the interview :

  • Documentation of education (i.e., Certificate/Diploma/Degree);
  • CSA Intermediate Workplace First Aid with CPR 'C';
  • In addition to above, you are also required to provide your original Criminal Records Check of the Vulnerable Sector along with your original Child Abuse Register.
  • Rate of Pay: $17.07/hr. to $17.42

    Requirements:

    • High school completion certificate or equivalent.
    • Successful completion of a Certificate/Diploma/Degree from a recognized post-secondary institution, specifically in a field focused on child and youth development, including a formal practicum placement.
    • CSA Intermediate Workplace First Aid with CPR 'C'. (The course must meet Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) and Workplace First Aid (WFA) standards to comply with the CSA Z1210-17 Standards).
    • Ability to perform physical requirements of the position.
