Job summary

Aramark in Kamloops is seeking a Catering Server to support dining operations by keeping dishes, utensils, and equipment clean and sanitized. You will help maintain the dishwashing station, ensure equipment is in good condition, and assist with light custodial tasks while upholding safety standards.

The role requires a positive attitude, strong customer service, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed to support busy events and on-site functions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils are cleaned and sanitized
• Maintains dishwashing station, three compartment sink and related areas cleaned
• Ensures equipment is clean and in working condition; reports any issues to management
• Performs other light maintenance and custodial tasks
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guest, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
• Ensures security of company assets

Maintain Courteous and Professional conduct at all times with internal and external guests, staff and management

• Understanding of the basic safety, sanitation, and hygiene in regards to food and beverage handling
• Ability to read all current day function contracts and ensures all function rooms and food and beverage are to the Classic Fare Catering Standards.
• Maintaining all banquet areas and storage room are neat and tidy during and at the end of each shift
• Delivering and serving banquets of all types include breakfast, lunch, dinner, buffets, plated meals, On campus deliveries and off-site functions
• Serving meals and coffee breaks as well as clearing and bussing and maintaining a professional looking banquet area.
