A leading meal kit delivery company in Toronto seeks a Category Manager, Grocery. You will develop sourcing strategies and manage vendor relationships to optimize the supply chain and enhance ingredient quality. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree and over 5 years of experience in supply chain or strategic sourcing are encouraged to apply. The Category Manager, Grocery will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies to improve our cost structure, the quality of our products, the reliability of our supply chain, and will play a leading role in supporting innovation through new product development. You will oversee the management and optimization of our Grocery supply chain, own and develop our vendor relationships, lead initiatives to improve our ingredient quality, and continuously improve our end-to-end sourcing processes. As part of the Procurement team, you will play a key role in helping us deliver the best possible value to our customers.
It’s no surprise that as a food company, we use many ingredients that may be considered common allergens (i.e. peanuts, tree nuts, milk, etc.). Whether this role is based out of our headquarters or one of our distribution centers, it is possible that you may be exposed to such allergens in this role.
