Job summary

Brandt Industries in Regina, SK, is seeking a Category Manager - Consumables to drive growth in the Parts category. You will lead strategy, partner with CSAs and service managers, and develop training programs while managing vendor relationships and market intelligence to identify opportunities.

The role emphasizes sales, margin growth, and effective parts programs, with a focus on cross-functional collaboration across Branches and Service teams.

  • Establish Strategy and implement Annual Business plans for Product group to achieve sales and margin growth.
  • Product Expert/Resource Communicator
  • Coach, Support and Educate CSAs as required on applicable products
  • Develop and Deliver training programs to develop CSA’s, Parts and Service Managers
  • Manage Vendor relationships related to Parts including new vendor identification and set-up
  • Market Intelligence on competition, customers, pricing, and segment trends
  • Analyze sales and margin data to identify opportunities for CSAs and branches
  • Identify new product opportunities and work internally to stock and supply
  • Promote sales of new & used parts
  • Promote sales of parts programs
  • Facilitate creation of effective parts database

Brandt Industries is currently seeking a CategoryManager -Consumables to join our team in Regina, SK.

As our CategoryManager -Consumables, you are the key player in the growth and development of the applicable commodity for sales and margin. You need to work closely with the CSAs, and Parts Managers to execute Brandt customer programs. You will be the Brandt expert on Parts on said parts and will be relied on by all internal staff and customers for your experience and knowledge of these products and services. You will establish Strategy and implement Annual Business plans for this Product group with objectives to achieve sales and margin growth.

What You Will Be Responsible For
  • Establish Strategy and implement Annual Business plans for Product group to achieve sales and margin growth

A background in the applicable sector is very important. The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary education in business, engineering, or related experience. Candidates with a relevant combination of education and experience along with a proven track record in relationship building and sales will be considered.
