A leading engineering firm in Canada is seeking a Category Manager to oversee Category Buyers supporting Nuclear Projects. This role requires expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and risk mitigation. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, 7–10 years in category management, and strong negotiation and analytical skills. The position offers competitive compensation and encourages a hybrid working model.
Reporting to the Senior Category Manager, the Category Manager is responsible for managing a team of Category Buyers in support of Nuclear Projects & Services. They will lead a team of experienced Category Buyers in various areas of the nuclear supply chain such as Large Equipment, Pumps & Valves, Electrical, Instrumentation and Control, etc. The Senior Category Manager is responsible for >$500MM per year worth of procurement over multi‑year projects.
