A leading consumer goods company based in Toronto is seeking a Category Engineer to manage technology projects for the dressings category. The ideal candidate will have a BS in engineering and 3+ years of experience in FMCG. Responsibilities include overseeing capital projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.
The Category Engineer position based in the Toronto - Rexdale Factory, will manage the end-to-end delivery of the condiment’s technology projects for the Dressings Category in Canada. This includes direct capital project management of innovation and technology changes at Rexdale, and third-party manufacturers. Provides support and expertise to the day to day and reliability activities at the factory and runs trials at the factory for all pack and process changes. Reports to Category Engineering Manager, Nutrition.
