We are searching for a Category Assistant for the "Household Desk". Reporting directly to the Category Director, the incumbent supports all product and financial processes associated with category management and assists in the general administration and management of categories and suppliers. The incumbent maintains the data for the flyers and all supporting documents, data retrieval and analysis for planograms, category reviews, and supplier meetings.
This position requires a demonstrated level of initiative and judgment to organize and prioritize tasks, workload and projects. Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are required in dealing with colleagues in everyday working relationships.
Greater than one-year general business or merchandising experience.
Post‑secondary education with courses in business, merchandising or equivalent.
