A leading health services provider in Toronto is seeking a Refine Skin Consultant, AHA, to join their innovative Dermatology practice. This role involves conducting skin consultations, educating clients on skincare maintenance, and ensuring an exceptional in-clinic experience. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and possess strong communication skills. This casual position requires availability Monday to Saturday, including mandatory Saturdays, within a flexible shift schedule.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience, preferably in Dermatology.
  • Experience in a medical dermatology setting with various clients is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Medcan is recruiting for a Refine Skin Consultant, AHA to support our growing and innovative Dermatology practice (Refine By Medcan). The Refine Skin Consultant, AHA plays a critical role in client experience by liaising with prospective clients, guiding them through the cosmetic skin consultation process, providing education around skin care and treatments, and creating an exceptional in-clinic experience. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, will have a drive for finding the best solution for the client, a passion for Cosmetic Dermatology, will have a history of building trusting relationships with client, and will thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Accountabilities
  • Conduct skin consultations with clients to determine appropriate treatments to address skin concerns
  • Educate clients on skincare maintenance
  • Act as an ambassador to the Refine clinic by ensuring clients are aware of all dermatology services available
  • Follow-up with new clients after their initial consultation to encourage conversion from consults to scheduled appointments
  • Quote and discuss fees and payment policies
  • Schedule, coordinate and retain all aspects of appointments
  • Respond to telephone and e‑mail enquiries from internal and external clients
  • Update client information on internal database
  • Coordinate with other staff to ensure exceptional delivery of service
  • Actively support the client retention process
  • Ad‑hoc administrative tasks to improve Refine processes
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience, Dermatology experience an asset
  • Bachelor’s degree or medical aesthetician certification
  • Excellent written, verbal and electronic communication skills
  • Knowledge of skin varieties and conditions
  • Knowledge of cosmetic dermatology procedures and aesthetic services
  • Knowledge of skin care products and treatments
  • Experience in medical dermatology setting with a wide variety of client populations is an asset

This is a casual position at our Toronto office at 150 York St. Shifts can be scheduled Monday to Saturday (as needed) with mandatory Saturday availability, with working hours between 6:00 am - 7:30pm for an 8.5‑hour shift (30‑min lunch break).

Position Pay Range

Pay range based on projected On‑Target Earnings for year one of employment.

The compensation range provided in this posting reflects a projected estimate for the first year of employment and includes base salary plus anticipated variable commission earnings. Actual commission will vary based on individual performance, team targets, and business conditions. Over time, commission earnings may grow as the employee gains experience, builds client relationships, and achieves performance milestones. This projection is not a guarantee of future earnings and should be viewed as an illustrative example based on current compensation models.
