Job Skills / Requirements

We are seeking a professional and reliable On‑Call / Casual Security Guard to join our team in North Vancouver. The successful candidate will work with a dynamic team of security professionals to ensure the safety, security and positive experience of all visitors and tenants on site.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional presence.
• Patrol the property regularly to deter unauthorized activity and ensure safety.
• Monitor for security breaches, hazards or suspicious behavior.
• Respond to emergencies such as fire alarms, medical incidents and other urgent situations.
• Complete accurate and detailed incident and activity reports using company software.
• Follow established site procedures and maintain communication with team members and supervisors.

Qualifications

• BST Required, AST Preferred
• OFA Level 1 Required, OFA Level 2 Preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional, dependable and able to remain calm under pressure.
• Able to patrol and stand for extended periods.
• Previous experience in security or customer service is an asset.
• Must be available for on‑call / casual shifts including evenings and weekends.

Certification Requirements (All)

British Columbia Security License
