Fraser Health Authority is seeking a Casual Registered Nurse, Medical Imaging for Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre to support interventional imaging procedures.

BC College of Nurses and Midwives registration, a high acuity nursing certificate, and CPR certification are required, with at least one year of related interventional imaging experience. Fraser Health emphasizes staff wellness, professional development, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Completion of a recognized high acuity specialty nursing certificate and one (1) year of recent related interventional medical imaging experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificate.

Responsabilités

• Provides nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures, monitors vital signs, and collaborates with radiology colleagues.
• Assists Radiologists during procedures by acting as scrub and circulating nurse; sets up equipment and supplies; monitors ECG data.
• Performs procedures related to interventional imaging, including IV therapy, administration of medications, and patient monitoring during and after procedures.
• Ensures patient safety and comfort; documents care and coordinates with the care team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintains safety standards and participates in continuous improvement and education opportunities.
