Job summary

A leading university in Canada is looking for a part-time research coordinator to assist with human research studies in the Voice and Upper Airway Laboratory. Qualifications

Hiring Unit: School of Communication Sciences and Disorders

Position Summary
  • Assist human research studies in the Voice and Upper Airway Laboratory in the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Responsible for preparing, managing and ensuring compliance with human ethics protocols.
  • Responsible for participant recruitment from clinical partners and broad community
  • Responsible for data collection and entry as well as managing study documentation of human studies
  • Possibility of position extension until January 2027
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in health- or biomedical-related area is required, with a master's degree considered as an asset.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical or human study research coordination for those with Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in clinical or human study research coordination for those with Master's degree
  • Strong experience in preparing and managing IRB ethics protocols
  • Strong experience in participant recruitment and research data management
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Exceptional organization skills, attention to detail and time management skills
