Fraser Health Authority is hiring casual Registered Nurses to join the Medicine team at Surrey Memorial Hospital in Surrey, BC. You will provide direct patient care, perform assessments, and participate in care planning as part of an interprofessional team.

The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care, collaboration with families, and ongoing professional development within a supportive health system.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as an RN with BCCNM.
• Registration must be active to practice in British Columbia.
• Experience in inpatient medicine or acute care settings is an asset.

Responsabilités

• Assess patients and provide direct nursing care with prescribed interventions.
• Collaborate with the care team and families to develop and adjust the care plan.
• Coordinate discharge planning and referrals with the interprofessional team.
• Educate patients and families about health maintenance and self-care.
• Document assessments, interventions and patient responses in the chart.
