A medical professional corporation in Toronto seeks a casual Registered Nurse to support patients through fertility procedures. Candidates must have a current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and at least 2 years in nursing. This role requires exceptional communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment. The position offers competitive pay with flexible scheduling from 7 AM to 3 PM on various days.
Reporting to the Director, Surgery Centre, the casual Registered Nurse has the primary responsibility of supporting patient through fertility operation procedures, including ovum (egg) retrieval, embryo transfer and sperm aspiration.
Please note, this is a casual role with no guaranteed weekly hours. 2 weeks of full time work is required upon hire to receive sufficient training. Ongoing, one shift per month is required to remain active.
The position is in a collaborative team environment fostering both patient and employee experience. The successful candidate will work in a multi-disciplinary team, delivering patient-focused care to a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, meticulous, and is able to adapt to new challenges. They will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and have an interest in fertility.
