Qualifications

• PTA/OTA diploma or degree in Kinesiology.
• Previous experience within an LTC setting is an asset.
• Standard First Aid & CPR Certification necessary.
• Valid Vulnerable Sector screening check required.
• Proof of Tuberculin clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the supervising physiotherapist with treatment plans.
• Perform prescribed treatments including gait training.
• Conduct safe and beneficial exercise classes for residents.
• Prepare equipment and maintain treatment areas.
