Qualifications
Grade 12 and graduation from an accredited Pharmacy Technician program.
Current practicing registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
Responsibilities
Processes clinically reviewed and approved medication orders for distribution.
Receives and verifies prescriptions from practitioners.
Prepares prescriptions by measuring and packaging medications.
Ensures accuracy of dispensed prescriptions through final checks.
Maintains accurate records for pharmacy operations.
