Formación

• Two years recent clinical experience working with mental health clients.
• Eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists.

Responsabilidades

• Provides occupational therapy assessment, consultation, and interventions.
• Collaborates with clients and caregivers to develop treatment goals.
• Develops and implements individual and group activity programs.
• Records and maintains patient records according to policies.

Conocimientos

Comprehensive assessment for clients living with a mental illness

Knowledge of current developments and trends in occupational therapy

Knowledge of Psychiatric disorders, medications, and side effects

Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships

Educación

Graduation from an approved school of Occupational Therapy

Current full registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC
