Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Answer client phone calls and schedule/coordinate HandyDART driver movements accordingly.
  • Use the radio to dispatch drivers efficiently and maintain clear communication.
  • Process new employee files and submit for approval.
  • Maintain all employee files according to company policy.
  • Process vendor invoices for payment.
  • Calculate driver/staff payroll and input information into the system.
  • Receives and processes applications and schedules interviews.
  • Answers the telephone and responds to customer inquiries.

Job description
Transdev Canada is hiring a casual Clerk/Dispatcher for our Vernon location.

As a Clerk/Dispatcher, you will be responsible for managing a wide range of administrative tasks to support daily office operations and for scheduling the HandyDART drivers routes.


As a Dispatcher (2 Hours/day)


  • Answer client phone calls and schedule/coordinate HandyDART driver movements accordingly.

  • Use the radio to dispatch drivers efficiently and maintain clear communication.


As a Temporary Clerk (4 Hours/day)


  • Process new employee files and submit for approval.

  • Maintain all employee files according to company policy.

  • Process vendor invoices for payment.

  • Accounts payable experience.

  • Calculate driver/staff payroll and input information into the system.

  • Receives and processes applications and schedules interviews.

  • Answers the telephone and responds to customer inquiries.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
