Qualifications

• Understanding of child development for ages up to 12.
• At least 2 years of experience with children up to age 12; ECD training is a plus.
• NVCI and food safety training are assets (not mandatory).
• Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search (within 6 months) required.
• First Aid and CPR level C are recommended.
• A valid Saskatchewan Class 5 license and a reliable vehicle are required.
• $2 million vehicle liability insurance is required for the car you bring to work.

Responsibilities

• Support children with routines and activities suitable for their age.
• Observe and monitor play; organize recreational activities and reading.
• Document daily activities, habits, meals, and emotional well-being.
• Assist with food preparation, meals, and clean-up.
• Support children’s emotional and social development.
• Follow safety and emergency procedures.
• Escort and participate in outings with children.
