Job summary

Aramark in Ottawa, Ontario is seeking a Cashier Supervisor for a full-time day shift (Mon-Fri 5am–1:30pm). You will lead front-of-house operations, greet guests, and ensure smooth cash handling and transactions at the POS.

You’ll build a positive team dynamic with support staff, uphold safety policies, and maintain stock and cleanliness while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Basic math & counting skills required.
• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.
• Complete Food Handler and Alcohol Service trainings as required by location.

Responsibilities

• Accurately operate a register/POS and handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs
• Adheres to Browns Plus + cash handling policies and procedures
• Understand and be knowledgeable of the merchandise for sale to assist customers and accurately process transactions
• Complete opening and closing procedures as assigned for unit based on operating hours
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment during service and at the end of shift.
• Ensure product in location is stocked to appropriate levels throughout service and replenish items as needed.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures

You’ll be responsible for daily operations in the front of house, building a strong team dynamics with the general help, and providing the best-of-the-best in customer service.
