Job summary

Bulk Barn in Victoria, BC is seeking a friendly Store Cashier/Stock Clerk to serve customers at the front of the store and handle cash transactions. You will also stock shelves and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming shopping environment.

This part-time role requires a flexible schedule including mornings, days and evenings across the week. Prior retail or cashier experience and comfort with a POS system are assets for success.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more as required.
• Retail experience is an asset.
• Cashier experience and POS familiarity.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, days and evenings, plus weekends.

Position Summary

A Store Cashier/Stock Clerk acts as the company’s front line contact with customers, and plays an integral role in the customer experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist customers in a manner that exceeds customer expectations
• Manage transactions and the cash register with honesty and integrity
• Stock and re-stock shelves and products
• Clean and maintain store appearance
• Maintain a healthy and safe working environment
• Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Permanent, Part-time.

Schedule: Must be available to work a flexible schedule that includes early mornings, days and evenings, Monday through Sunday. Your availability must be approximately 12 to 25 hours per week.
