Job summary

Walmart Canada in Sherwood Park, AB seeks a friendly Cashier to provide exceptional customer service at the checkout, process transactions accurately, and help protect store assets through careful cash handling.

You will greet customers, assist with bagging, promote program services, and refer complex issues to a supervisor as needed. Minimum age 16 or older; starting pay is CA$16.15 per hour.

• Assists customers with bagging and loading of merchandise.
• Ensures safe work practices are followed including proper lifting and keeping a clean work area.
• Maintains register security and integrity through diligent cash handling, adherence to relevant company policies and awareness of surroundings.
• Refers appropriate service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager as required.
